Farcha Farm near N'Djamena, Chad Goat Cheese-N'Djamena, Chad

Investment in Africa and humanitarian aid and development in Sub-Saharan Africa have long sought to make an economic and human impact. Still, international organizations often lack understanding of the host country and a dedication to that specific environment. Part 1 of a two-segment special on Farcha Farm near N'Djamena, Chad questions the assumptions of traditional development-oriented activities in Africa as it follows David and Sara Durand of Chad. David, of Chadian lineage, and Sara, having lived in Burundi and Cameroon, have capitalized on their intimate understanding of Africa to incorporate creative business and charitable solutions. The result, truly, is something to see.
